My Dad has worked for HM Revenue & Customs most of his adult life, investigating tax avoidance from big-name publishers to the take-away down the road. My Mum, a recently retired social worker who counted Monica Jones as one of her clients, has been writing poetry since her teens.

Billy Bragg's Talking to the Taxman About Poetry has been making me laugh for years. It frames my parent's marriage in interesting and absurd ways.

Currently in production, this audio / visual project consists of a series of photographs and an album of sound recordings exploring disparate cultural and political relationships, beginning at home and moving outwards.
