A few weeks ago I was making pictures with La Bête Blooms again. Every time we do something together and I blog about it I end up telling the story of how my very first gig was one Dan put on for his 18th at The Springhead pub in Anlaby. I had a whole other life once and it’s nice to remember I was there at La Bête Blooms year zero. It’s great to see what they’ve achieved over the years and it’s always a pleasure when we work together every now and then. Next on the cards for them is their 2nd EP after 2014’s self-titled first outing (and not forgetting last year’s killer Cassette Store Day release). They’ve been playing the EP’s songs out for a while now and if you didn’t catch them last night at the Polar Bear, they’re playing Humber Street Sesh this Saturday. You can catch them on Warren Records’ Strummerville Stage at 9.25pm.
